University of Exeter in UK is looking to fill a postdoctoral position to work within the EU/FP7 PAGE21 project on high latitude permafrost modelling in Earth System model.The objective is to understand and quantify the vulnerability of permafrost environments to a changing global climate, and to investigate the feedback mechanisms associated with increasing greenhouse gas emissions from permafrost zones. The work will be done in close collaboration with the MetOffice group as well as with project partners (MPI, Germany and CNRS, France).
